The 2014 Running of the National Walking Futurity will take place on the weekend of April 12 and 13 on the grounds of the Beaver Valley Pointer & Setter Club, 239 Bonzo Rd., Rochester PA. Entries should be directed to Roger McPherson at 843 623 2186. The Futurity running will be preceeded by the Gene Uhlman Puppy Classic, and followed by an Open Shooting Dog stake on the same grounds. Entries for both of these supporting stakes should be directed to Roger. Any questions should be directed to Roger at the above noted phone number or email at mcpherson@clarion.edu
Purina will be hosting a dinner at the grounds on Saturday after the running. Please RSVP to Roger if you are planning to attend the dinner.
Judges for the stakes are Chris Rider of Smithfield PA and Steve Swauger of Reynoldsville, PA
Don't forget to purchase a chance to win a portion of a full pallet of Purina ProPlan, courtesy of Purina! Tickets are available from any officer of the Pennsylvania Walking Shooting Dog Association, and will also be available the day of the Futurity.
